For many years I worked for a division of Marriott Corporation as a paperhanger and project expediter renovating properties all over the country.  As there was occasionally so much travel involved, I tried to get the tools out of the truck.  Nowadays it is just the way I do things.  I leave this wagon out of the way at my jobsites for the duration of each project.  It has proved an efficient means of never forgetting a tool.  Consequently, it also limits my willingness to take some types of jobs.  It is getting a little old though, and the day is coming when I replace it with a modern enclosed unit.  Most of my customers appreciate my efficiency, and think it is cute.  There is always the sourpuss though who thinks it is an eyesore.

I am a 59 year old painting and decorating contractor who has been working as a painter since 1968, and as a paperhanger and wall-covering installer since 1982 after I was awarded a master paperhanger certificate from a Georgia trade school.  I am accredited by the paperhangers guild since 2000.

 My forte is the older home wherein I am tasked with complete finish re-do's.  Oftentimes, I am able to produce superior results when it includes not only walls to paint or paper, but hardware items (Lights, plugs, switches, curtain rods, and sometimes the occasional trim or door replacement and repair.)  I get talked into completing all sorts of honey-do lists and repairs.

My strong points are interior house painting and decorating in occupied dwellings; ceiling painting, trim painting, wallpaper installations, repairs, and removals.  I also have a real penchant for repairing things

I hang all types of wallpaper installations, though not too much commercial anymore.  I can help you with digital murals  and prints, or work with your decorator to install those high-end fabrics and pulps.  I have even been hanging some vintage products in recent years.  Of course, there are always the ready-made products available from discount stores and paint retailers.
